Kindermusik Village provides the natural learning environment your infant needs from the earliest days of life. With the parent/caregiver at the center of the baby's discovery, Village engages all the senses and rewards curiosity with object and instrument exploration, vocal play, movement, and balance skills. Activities encourage the parent/caregiver to make creative choices as the child grows from a lap baby to a crawler to a walker. Kindermusik Village stimulates development in every area of the brain during the crucial first 1-1/2 years of life.
DewDrops / Cock-a-Doodle-MOO!
DewDrops takes Baby into the middle of a flower garden, seeing the dew drops glisten in the morning sun and feeling the cool breeze blow, a true multi-sensory experience!
Varying styles of music are represented - from the lively Celtic dance of the Belfast Hornpipe to the gentle, soothing melody of Scarborough Fair. Whether hammocking, dancing a jig, exploring a drum, singing a lullaby or using a mirror in vocal play activities, Baby and Parent/Caregiver celebrate the joys of music and their special relationship.
Cock-a-Doodle-MOO!, explores a farm theme through music, motion and multi-sensory activities. Baby will enjoy the movement of a "hayride," vocal play and discovery using farm animal sounds (cock-a-doodle-OINK!), and lots of singing activities ranging from classic faborites like Old MacDonald and You Are My Sunshine to a Swedish rhythm song and a beautiful Armenian lullaby.
Home materials include two CDs, two colorful board books, two instruments, two sets of picture cards and two carrying bags.
Tuition and materials: $220
(If you do not pay the entire tuition and materials fee now, a minimum of $80 for a deposit is due with your application and $140 is due at Class #1)
Kindermusik Village meets for 45 minutes a week for 15 weeks.
